Windows XP Multi Core config - Did you do it Or did your OEM?

Following this guide made my pentium d 925 a bit faster than with windows default settings, i highly recommend it for all dualcore owners & p4 HT owners.


Applies to both AMD and Intel.

AFAIK, if both of the AMD Utilites are installed for dual cores, it does all that for you.

Even edit the boot.ini? ahwell the thing still stands for core 2 duo's and pentium D's and p4's with HT

nope doesnt work for me.

i just did it all in order and it hasnt effected my superPI whatsoever (c2d btw)
