Can anyony help.
My machine keeps crashing after 30 seconds of playing Battlefield 2.
This only happens when playing BF2 only.
Is there somewhere in the windows system that is logging the fault so I can find out what the fault is.

I do recall having similar problems, albeit with another game, in my case in was due to the CPU overheating and causing the PC to reboot when playing - do you have any idea what your chip temps are?

There is no overclocking with no programs running CPU is 41 degrees C & MB at 30 degrees C

Do you have Cool n Quiet enabled, as in the windows power scheme is set to "minimal power management" along with your Bios setting? If so, set it back to Home setting.
The AMD X64 driver is poxy compared to the X32 one............and regularly causes issues running certain games in X64 namely PES5.
Sometimes it seems as if your playing on a 1Ghz machine..................maybe its acting up with BF2??

All power savings are turned off
I have been reciving a window at startup that the 9800 power lead is unpluged but it is not.
I unpluged the power lead then pluged it back in then restarted it I also left the side cover off but I do have a case fan
I restart the machine then all is ok
