Windows XP Pro and keyboard?

Howzit guys,

I've got a friend who has just built a lekker system with Windows XP Pro running great. We are now trying to get a keyboard working, however this is no standard keyboard. It's a multimedia keyboard from microsoft and says on the back for XP Media Center. No is there anyway at all we can get this keyboard working under xp pro?

It's the Microsoft Remote Keyboard, with keypads on either side.

Yeah my m8 has this keyboard working in xp-x64 (don t no bout xp pro tho) he just plugged it in and played.

All I can suggest is windows update if u have not already do so it has to work coz it should support all Microsoft’s operating systems.

Also how does it say install it if u have MCE.

Hmm, I have done every update I can think of. Has he got all buttons working?
Possible to ask him if he had software for it?

Thats a good point never asked him if he Has got all buttons working i have now asked him and he said he does not get all the buttons he only gets basic functionality. (so no multimedia buttons)

And he did not use software to install it he just plugged it in and played and that may be why he only gets basic functionality.
