windows xp pro versions

Hi,

Just wondered what the end version win xp pro is??

is it worth getting windows xp pro sp3 or sp2??

whats the difference? whats the best to get xp pro wise?

Ive been out since vista came on the scene..

XP Pro SP3 has now been RTM'd, so the final version of SP3 should be hitting Windows Update soon. I would go for this one over SP2 as it includes extra bug fixes, security fixes etc. The SP3 RC2 is available to download from Microsoft now.

Currently SP2 until SP3 hits general release.

I take it you're looking at the ETH0 integrated releases?

You can do this yourself with nLite + RyanVM's update packs.

sp2c is the most recent SP, but its hard to get a hold of

wait till SP3 comes out, it's supposed to be faster than SP2 was!

best to get corporate edition which was released in 2001, fresh with absoultely nothing added, just make sure you slipstream sp3 build 5512 with nlite, well thats what i prefer anyway :E

those are pirated versions, probably use ryanvm packs (not piracy) to make the discs, but they'd mess up if you slipstreamed sp3 into them
