hi needing help with a problem that my uncle has,
basically he has a old 9-10Gb harddrive that has windows on it, now in the past 4-6 months he had a 120Gb harddrive fitted, now XP is on the smaller drive ovbiously ;)
what i need to know whats the best way to take a image of the smaller drive and shove it on the bigger one WITHOUT any loss of data or anything?
cheers for looking.

Personally I would take advantage of having the new hard drive and reinstall XP from scratch. If it's running on a 10Gb HD it's probably been installed for a while, and would probably run much faster with a fresh install!

i would agree with you here but i fancy having no greef in having to install programs etc again, also his computer is used for business work also (just calendars and the odd invoice) so the works important, i'll have a look at that "Acronis True Image" program and see if its perfect cheers for the help :)
