Hi there,
I am right in assuming that it includes all the updates EVER for XP, upto the point it was created (and then a couple of performance tweaks).
Thanks.

I would like to see a customizable download of SP3 where the user could choose to roll in stuff like WMP, Defender and IE7 as one. That'd make it nice and easy to integrate to an existing Windows XP disc using nlite. Although I bet a clever sausage will tell me you can already do this![]()
Ah. That'd be too much hassle for Microsoft I think. They'd just want one single download so it'd be easier to support.Well I would guess that you could roll it into nlite, but I meant the download from Microsoft itself would be 1 single download.
I think the EU would go postal if MS wrapped any more stuff up in WindowsWell I would guess that you could roll it into nlite, but I meant the download from Microsoft itself would be 1 single download.

Correct. Did you know that there is a version of XP that doesnt include Media Player because the EU said MS were forcing people to use it blah blah blah? MS reply - "Nobody wants the version without Media Player"
You do have to use tools like NLite to integrate things otherwise the Monopolies Commission people help themselves to Mr Gate's Cash. Its a pain for users but it is to encourage competition
