Hi there,

How do I make it so that Windows can come out of standby by pressing a key on the keyboard.

Also how to I make it automatically login to the user that put it on standby. There is only one user of the machine with no password.

Thanks.

go into device manager find the keyboard and tick the box allow this device to wake my computer. As for the logging straight in, check the user accounts and see if theres a weird named account (created when you install .net framework) if there is delete it and your pc will auto log in.

Already set the tick, doesn't work. Its a USB keyboard if that means anything. But I am also unable to bring the computer out of standby via mouse.

There is also only one account, with guest turned off.

EDIT:

The standby thing seems to have sorted itself out, it now comes out of standby into the current user, but i still can't bring it out of standby with the keyboard.

The keyboard is a wireless logitech keyboard, if that makes a difference.
