I am currently having a problem getting my computer to load windows. The system boots up fine and gets to the point where it tells me windows did not start up properly, and lets me choose to start windows normally, last known good configuration, safe mode etc...

Once i have made a selection a white loading bar appears at the bottom then the system restarts. I have tried all options to boot into windows yet i always get the same result.

Before this problem occured i had just installed Nero 7 and Coolbits.

Hopefully someone can point me towards a solution...

Windows XP Pro SP2
Amd Athlon XP 3000
512mb (3x256mb PC 2700) RAM
Geforce FX 5200 128mb

hi there if you installed a copy of nero which was download ;) then most times they contain a virus when you install it, ive lost count the time a virus or trogen was found in nero that i have download from torrents, limewire etc, and if you have i bet you a virus has messed up your boot sector, only way to sort this is fresh install. :D
