Hi,

my sister has a Packard Bell EasyNote R1004 (i think)
its quite old now, but there is no need to upgrade as she doesnt do much on it

the problem is that she doesnt like windows XP look and feel, so i have found a theme that makes it look like 7, kind of anyway

http://www.mediafire.com/?7iflc2sd7k3qd5o (please let me know if i am not allowed to post that)

my questions are,

1) she needs the taskbar, window style, start button and start menu changing, so will i have to install JUST "Windows 7 Theme > Theme > Theme.exe" from that folder?

2) will this slow down the PC atall? cant have any slowing down, specs are low.

3) will it run fine on this spec:

Intel Celeron M 1.5GHz
768MB RAM
50GB HDD
Windows XP Home Edition

thank you :)

The first problem will be that the theme won't be digitally signed so it won't work anyway unless you have a modified uxtheme.dll file which will allow you to use unsigned themes (plus I'm not sure if there is a version for SP3 since M$ updated the file).
