Windows XP updates fails?

I keep getting windows updates failed on 3 which are .net framework updates.

Is anyone else getting this and how do i stop/fix it?

You could download and install the latest .NET framework manually. This might solve the issue.

yeah tried that

tried installing .net frame work 3 and 4 and also tried a reinstall over the top ( repair install)

also tried deleting all things to do with windows update and download the updates again

tried cclean for reg fix

tried full system scan with malware bytes and super anti spyware just incase.

removed bit defender and all a.v just incase.

not sure what else to try

have you checked that xp is activated. ?
