windows xp user profile settings

Okay long story short

Carpark pay machine using win xp. on reboots it cant acess its user profile settings and applys new settings enabling the screensaver.

I never played around with user profiles before. Is there some place i can set it to be stored locally? or replace it as it may be corrupt

sounds like something is corrupt, delete the user profile and reconfig?

The cleanest way to delete a profile is the following:

Start > right click on Compter. Choose Properties

Advanced tab, then User Profile settings

Click the corrupt profile and delete

Will it automatically recreate it

On next login it will create another. It'll need to be configured manually though with any customisations needed.
