Windows XP -> Windows 7?

Sorry if its been discussed to death, I'm just geniunely curious

I know how Vista is said to be hated, but are any XP users going to take the plunge to Windows 7 when its fully released? (not counting the beta)

Is there any way to get the startbar etc to look like the vista one? I think the windows 7 one looks ugly as hell
