Hi,
I'm using vista 64 bit. mainly for gaming and internet.

My dad has windows 7 32 bit. so i installed it on my other HD to see what it was like. tested few games. and them games run so much better then they ever did on vista 64 bit. it just seem so quick and less buggy. m
ade me relise how unhappy iv'e been with vista64.

Iv'e got an i7 set up, with 6 gig of ram. i know the 64 bit allows more ram then the 32 bit OS.
so what i would like to know is, would i really notice a lot of differents in games wise etc if i upgaded from my now new windows 7 32bit, to windows 7 64bit ?

cheers :)

If you are buying anyway, go with 64bit. Going from Vista 64 to W7 32 should not have produced a massive increase in performance - there is just something not right there and the likely culprit is your specific instance of Vista 64 be it malware, dodgy drivers or misconfiguration.

And FYI you can't "upgrade" from W7 32 to W7 64, only fresh install.
