Windows7 64bit PCI Wireless

Thats the one i have but on 64bit.
I just downloaded the latest drivers and it worked.

You were lucky for that to work, I still cant find anything on getting it to work & have just rang netgear support who told me they are still working on drivers for Win7 but didnt know when they would be out.

I asked if they thought that was good enough service with the new O/S coming out & there product not working with it but she just said we dont know when new drivers will be out that work with windows7 you will just have to check the website periodically.

Time to find a wireless adapter that will work.

I've heard you can get the WG311v3 working using the 64bit Marvell drivers, as its Marvell who make the actual wireless chip on the card. Though that depends on what version of the card you have. Of course that means you cant use the Netgear wireless utility either (but that's not necessarily a bad thing)

Nope I have that card and no joy, there is lots on google about the issues, you can use the marvell driver but you have to f8 on boot up to disbale driver signing.

The odd thing is that the driver supplied via windows update worked on vista 64 and worked on the 7 beta, I beleive it broke on the RC.

Real pain in the ass to be honest having to use a dlink usb dongle at the moment not an idea situation.
