Windows7 trouble with 9600GT!

Found this elsewhere.....
"My windows resolution 1280*1024 but I want to use 1024*768. When i select 1024*768 there are black bars on top of and below the screen. How can i fix it?

Same here................

I do not want to use 1280x1024.

I always use(in Windows XP)1024X768 and there are never any gaps.

In Windows 7 there are those gaps.

I should not have to ajust the monitor to be able to have 1024x768 fill the whole screen and IF I have to do that then booting back into Windows XP and 1024x768 will only make the display stretched.

Latest Nvidia drivers make no difference at all.

What sort of monitor are you using and how big is it? What's it's native resolution?

What's wrong with using 1280x1024 anyway? Why do you need to use 1024x768?
