patch doesn't improve performance, my bean sprouts look better now though.

6 months for new biome they reckon.

Of this type I've only ever played Raft, satisfactory and abiotic factor but thought this was really good, never even liked pirates before. I'll prob wait till v1 now but definitely recommend this, very relaxing game.

OK, I stuck with it.
I think I've got the flow of it now. I tend to rush things and I now understand I need to go and farm materials for a bit to get the upgrades. Slow down.

Upgrading the ship is harder than it should be, I have go to the wharf to manage the ship, uninstall all the components, then go to the ship building stall, check the upgrades, then go back to the wharf, manage the ship then put the items back again...
Just let me upgrade directly in the wharf with the items still attached.

Oh, and don't sleep on the dirt farm area thingies for your camp. Makes collecting flax so much easier (and others too) when it's grown right next to me. So don't sleep on your seed drops.

They could definitely do with combining those two buildings, or at least making it so that similar buildings or workstations share their menus.
I'd also love for an option to quick transfer the ship fittings from one ship to another.

I'm currently finding myself in a real need to upgrade my gear, which is taking a huge amount of grinding.
I wouldn't mind a slight upward shift in the balancing of loot drops for some of the rarer items.

Getting a bit tired with the performance of this game tbh. I've tried everything, even bringing the settings down to absolute minimum and it still judders, hangs, drops to single digits, etc. It's a mess. I've died more to this nonsense than anything else.

The game isn't that well optimised, and it's using Unreal engine, a notoriously stuttery engine. I think it is very CPU hungry, especially in player built areas due to having to render and compute each individual building block as a separate asset.

I know it's JayZ but he did a video on how poorly optimised the game was...
