Windscreen Wiper motor... easy to replace?

Well, stupid me switched the wipers on in the car when it snowed heavily the other day and now the left windscreen wiper won't work, does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to fit a new motor (labour)? Or even if it's easy to do it yourself? I can get a motor for £15.

depends on the car for a start, and you might have just snapped the control rod that's connected to the motor from the window wipers...

If one wiper still works then the motor will be fine, you just snapped or popped off the linkage. Usually you just have to take off the scuttle trim and it's all there.

Thanks guys. Had a look today and noticed that the wiper arm was raised a tad so I tightened the bolt and it works

Simple as that lol.
