Had to get myself a new graphics card as the old one died, the old one however ran smoothly when playing WoW in Wine. This new one has the FPS deluxe, but it seems like it is rendering the angles and shapes very harshly. I checked with the test environment I have set up that is running Win7 and there the graphics was soft and smooth.

Since the config file for WoW is the same for both of them it must be something with Wine, anyone have an idea as to what it can be?

Sounds like your anti-aliasing is disabled

Try adding

SET ffxDeath "0"
SET ffxGlow "0"

to your config.wtf apparently enables anti-aliasing for some people?

Also apparently most run WoW in OpenGL mode rather than D3D with Wine so try

SET gxApi "opengl"

to enable that

Thank you for the suggestions, had a long day with other things to sort so I have not been able to check in on the game. Why is there so little time, when there is so much to do?

*Edit*

Cheers, it is a lot less harder angles now, still not 100% percent, but it may just be my RAM that needs some boost. :)
