Has anyone used this company?

They talk a good game in their adverts but I went to their Web site and it said download the app.

So I downloaded the app and it now wants card details before it'll show me any pricing. My spidy senses are saying run a mile.

So wants card details before telling you how much things are, that's just lol levels of 'service', I'd want to know how much it's going to cost me before adding my card to a website\app

So after downloading the app and stupidly putting in my details (but not my card) they emailed me every day till I unsubscribed. They then rang me up, and now they've emailed me again.

The person on the phone didn't sound surprised that I wasn't interested in the slightest. They've now emailed me again!

"Please delete all of my information, you have no lawful reason to store it. If you do not, you will be in breach of GDPR and I will be forced to take legal action."

usually sorts them out.

Saw a lot about this a few months ago, with a lot of people upset about the way they work. I don't think that it's a particularly good service, but it's not a scam, just another way of selling wine.
If you're genuinely interested in the wine you buy, I wouldn't use them but instead go to the large number of independent high street/online wine retailers. If you're not really that interested in the wine that you're drinking, go to the large number of independent high street/online wine retailers or your local supermarket.

I think they take payment for the wine as soon as you select it.
It;s like being in one of those hotels where your scared to touch anything incase it self scans.

Does no one deliver wine to your door? like Those Ringtons vans I always see delivering coffee/biscuits or whatever to people.

Surely theres a market for it.

I've used these before... But for beer.. But they do wine also

It's a subscription where you get a random selection every month and it's not actually bad value given it's delivered.

I can't speak for the wine selections but the beer selections were really decent and it's stuff you'd never really come across in the shops.

Only slight irritation is you can't cancel online, you have to phone them but might be worth a look.

I used them for about a year and can't really complain.
