Dont do it but as far as I understand it is a martial art designed to be effective regardless of size or strength placing an emphasis on speed and accuracy.
Bruce Lee trained heavily in it prior to the period he began to develop Jeet Kune Do. He was a big fan of it and suggested that it was a very useful tool for any martial artist to use as the basis of a fighting system.
As with pretty much any martial art apart from Jeet Kune Do, it is not a complete picture and it has its strengths and weaknesses. Best bet is to find a local class and see what the students and teachers are like and give it a go.
only went to one lesson and a lot of martial arts depends on the instructor calibre and how good the pupils are. it really was a rubbish 1hour though, i do karate/kickboxing full contact which i find much more fun (and physical) Wing chun to me looked more like a yoga class with some mega chad defense moves and lack of offense.
