Just a reminder that the 6.22 WinSMP clients expire today so don't try to restart them.
No sign of a new version yet but it's still early in the day at Stanford.

Ah that explains why my client stopped functioning after midnight!
Thought i was going mad!

Fix is to download the 6.23 executable file (this is labled as '6.23 drop in binary' under the rest of the beta clients)
Paste this into the existing install folder, replacing the current executable and done :)

Anyone had any issues with the switch over? I've replaced the 6.22 exe and I'm now getting this ...

That's just been looping - it downloads a new WU, says the digital signitures don't match and finalises the output. Ideas?

Now I usually keep an SMP client in reserve and if the other decides to go haywire for some reason, I just switch them over. But the other one's doing a similar thing ...

[14:03:10] - Calling 'mpiexec -np 4 -channel shm -env MPICH_USE_SMP_OPTIMIZATIONS 1 -host 127.0.0.1 FahCore_a1.exe -dir work/ -suffix 01 -checkpoint 15 -service -verbose -lifeline 2428 -version 623'

Where you've got the bit in red, I've just got 'auto' and I don't have '-service' as running the SMP client as a service is allegedly a risky business. I suggest you try stopping the service and running it from a shortcut as a console client to see if that works. I've got three instances running that way without any problems.

I suppose that might be it, but I've always had them running as services. This would be the first issue I've ever had with it, if it is that.
