Models are going a bit nuts - though currently looks like high ground over Wales and the Midlands will see significant snow fall and everywhere else slightly sleety rain.

Met Office been abit cautious but now decided to go with snow for Saturday night and Sunday for my area although we still have days remaining so time could change

I haven't seen sleety rain mentioned anywhere?

In terms of cold and snowfall, highest risk so far looks more towards the East and SE ( Still a good few days away yet though )

At the time I posted flicking through a few of the different model outputs and overlapping the data suggested that the main event would be high ground and lower lying areas would see mostly rain with a bit of sleet at best. It is constantly changing at the moment though.

EDIT: Is it just me or is Monday morning on the 19th a kind of weird setup? I'm a bit out of my depth but it looks a bit of a strange setup. Looks like the Easterly gets cut off with a long fetch out West/North West but the whole setup seems to kind of stall.

Looks like it'll struggle to stay below freezing at ground level for much of the spell.

Good agreement on the dip - interesting that again towards the end of the month a few runs emerging trying to go cold again despite the models trying to return to average weather for the time of year could be a bit of a roller coaster as it eases back towards spring.
