I'm a bit angry right now so obviously TO THE INTERNET!

We live on a small country lane with just a few houses. Spent 2 hours digging my girlfriend's car out this morning so she could go to work.

Right now there is some tool parked in it who doesn't live here and she has just got home with absolutely nowhere safe to park.

I'm going to have to go out and spend another hour, in the dark, clearing a space.

Yes it's the public road and it's fair game for anyone to park there. It's not mine. But surely this is bad snow/neighbour etiquette?

Is it just me?

I know you'll all think I'm stupid but I'm trying to decide whether to leave a sarcastic note or actually go out and put the snow back.

A realy creative person would use the snow you now have to move to build a jolly snowman,

One in the front and one behind the offending car..... good luck have fun :D

I'd be piling the snow up around that car.

I hear Nazbit isn’t very good at building snowmen so one, weirdly, looks a bit like a giant penis, while the other looks like the snowman is bent over grabbing its behind ...;)

Definitely going to be coldest night of the year for us unless the last half of the month delivers up some colder ones.

Had a day off yesterday couldn't get out the cul-de-sac

all because of one foolish moron.

getting ready and I notice out the window one guy struggling to get out, the roads abit steep getting in and out however If you know how to drive you will get out.

not this guy! he proceeds to get his whole family out with buckets of hot water to melt the snow. it works and he gets out.....

and as you have probably guessed no one else got to work that day as the whole road became an ice rink. good job 10/10

Pretty much sums up this country.

Regards working from home when the weather's bad. Anyone that braves the journey in poor weather but doesn't absolutely need to be in the office, is risking their own safety and therefore reckless and untrustworthy.
It’s -4 with a chance of fog round here... I’m working from home until rush hour is done, then going in. No way am I risking encountering an idiot, or worse, being that idiot.

Bury car in shoveld show?

Ive got rain forecast yet the temp is 0 degrees... How does that work? Sorry if I sound stupid but how come it isnt snow!

Depends what the temperature is both at ground level and the air mass above - one or the other can be outside the conditions needed for snow and/or you might get hail instead.

Was -3 the other morning and 0 just now as I went to the shop.

Slipped a bit, time to get the Doc Martens out soon!

I'm like all prepared - got my proper cold weather footwear out - though it hit -4C overnight and quite some frost there is pretty much no ice here let alone snow :s
