Winter 2020/2021

Dilemma of the day coming up shortly...

Nippy start to the first of three glorious days of sunshine today, so do I freeze without a jacket cycling into work, or boil on the way home taking my jacket? Probably going to chance the former.

Thursday now forecast to be marginally the hottest day, but gets cool again just in time for the Easter long weekend and Wunderground are forecasting possible snow showers next Tuesday!

Started off cloudy and chilly yesterday but the sun hit a little pre time stamp. We had to shift a tonne of slate down the bottom of the garden, tonne of granite at the top but sweat resulted.
Today need to do a tip run, we have to go when reg number and days match here (you the same?) even day even number so going to hit Newquay landfill and carry on for a surf and beach, looks Mr blue sky wall to wall

It's going to be a massive shock going to freezing temperatures from todays 19c but obviously not unheard of this time of year.
Yesterday was a fight here between the mist and the sun but the sun won after shining through haze.
Had a really fun bodyboard session at Polzeath then parked at lead mines and strolled to pentire headland to guzzle tea (polzeath to the left, doom bar, mouth of the Camel to right)
Edit /soon be back to the it's too hot thread I'm sure

Never been one to brag about my location (cough) but today was awesome, that expected wind was zero, it felt like 25c, lush

Had snow this morning - right on cue for my arrival at the golf course. Left the house at 7am and within a few minutes of stepping on the first tee it was coming down pretty heavy, so had to abandon the round (live next door to the course so luckily no effort to get there but gutted I couldn't play). It's glorious out now though, but tee times fully booked until early evening so can't get back on.

West Midlands for me.

I'd actually just put on my cycling gear ready for my usual hour's ride, popped out to bring my wheelie bin back in, and my body said nope, too cold.

!0 minutes later it was snowing, didn't last, thankfully.

It's just started lightly snowing here.. what in the hell?

Beaten to the important national news, while yesterday afternoon was glorious and way above the original forecast, as we had our first small scale family get-together outdoors since Xmas Day.

Not seen any of our family since Xmas, they all live in Devon and Somerset so we obviously can't leave the area atm. Roll on 17th May.

it's almost freezing outside, looked like there was snow last night that didn't settle.

papers are still going on about some heatwave......
