Quite snowy here in very South Wales. (East of Cardiff)
First snow koda has seen so had spare half an hour before work and live next to a park.

With a minimum six hour wait in A&E he'd save on heating, too

Aah but the pain. :D It's hard enough staying on and avoiding potholes without ice to contend with. Plus knowing my luck some driver of a tonka truck or huge krautwagen may also not stop in time then it would be touch and go whether its the A&E or the mortuary.

Snowing again here in soton, more sleety stuff now though. Was meant to be raining now though, does seem to be melting somewhat.

I missed the best wintery scenes this morning, now seems to be limited to some roof tops, car tops and patches in the gardens facing west... Hopefully we aren't going to be greeted with ice sheets tonight!

The kids are out the back making a snowman, as school is closed.

Only a few inches of snow here, but it is still coming down.

How far north are you? Caerphilly was it?
Tempted to take dog for a walk to Caerphilly mountain but not sure if snow will be gone in the evening.

The forecast of sleet seems to actually mean heavy snow. Would rather not get stuck in work.
Sleet here. The BBC has done a complete 180 degree turn and now says sleet, the met office has also done a complete 180 degree turn and now says heavy snow...

Yeah, just outside caerphilly. Still snow on the ground here. View out of my front door:

Message me later and I'll let you know.

Thanks. Will do. Its noticeably melting here but much closer to coast here. And much lower.

Snow has mostly slid off car! Was good to get out this morning at least!

It got down to -7.8 degrees C last night and is only - 3.5 degrees C now. We had another inch of snow overnight on top of the four inches we woke up to yesterday morning. What I am not looking forward to is Friday. They are forecasting strong winds and blizzards here with up to 8 inches of snow. That's going to be "interesting".

3 Celsius and sunny spells in Rishton East Lancashire. The breeze it’s quite biter though from the East. Met office says heavy snow from 1700 Thursday evening to 1100 Friday morning with a 43 mph wind. Should be fun.
Roll on 20+ celcius day time and 10 Celsius + night time temperatures. Luckily I’m only in work one day this week (Sunday) two weeks of Annual leave needed to be taken before April

It’s snowing in the air, not landing.

If you think I moan a lot. Should hear the old dears whinging about the snow. Don’t they know that snow is safer than black ice? Everyone I know who has slipped has done so on ice rather than snow.

Fresh snow is fairly grippy. When it's compacted to ice.. Or worse. Thawed and refrozen, that's when roads get lethal.

Definitely turned colder today still not enough to turn the rain to snow though :( More rain tomorrow and could be plenty of it. Forecast has been pretty accurate its exactly what they said it would be

It really has. I watch the met office vids and the in depth ones on thier YouTube channel.
Even this cold snap was.predicted weeks ago.

They said the snow would fall. Somewhere between Cornwall. And south Wales. And here I am. In South Wales with first real snow in 3 years.
