Currently making a big pot of scotch broth with lamb flank. My favourite meal ever!
It takes 6 hours to make but it's worth the effort.
What meals do you all make when the weather hits freezing?

Chilli, spiced pumpkin soup, hot pot.

Stew or campfire stew are our go to’s in this weather but have also made chilli, roast chicken, several different soups and rice pudding recently

Butternut squash soup with thai red chili paste and coconut milk is my go to. Otherwise beef stew with buttery mash.

Soup season for me!!

Haddock(or whatever fish you can find/get), leek & potato soup
Chicken and bacon
Scotch broth
Smoked ham hock + veg
Pea and ham soup
French onion soup.
Random veg soup, I basically just go around the farm shop and just grab random veg and throw it in a big pot.
