I have the same... Wearing it over anything more that a long sleeved t shirt results in massive overheating!I bought the Mountain Equipment Lightline at the end of last year. Not as high spec as the Vega though. I'm not one that likes the puffa style jackets but after putting it on it felt like I'd got into a sleeping bag. I do need to be careful at what temps I use it in though as it does really warm me up. I mostly purchased it for freezing days on the airfield glider flying in winter as things only get colder as you go up and there is no heating in a glider! Does a great job of keeping me warm.

Great bit of kit though for the money
. Like Rab it's also a British brand. I similarly wouldn't call it a chavvy brand, unlike North Face / Superdry etc, which are more mainstream.
