well its that time of year again. i go to work in the dark, i arrive home in the dark. this makes it a little harder to shoot regularly.
last year i did some water drops and some off camera lighting stuff to keep me going through winter. at the time i was really happy with them. looking back they werent great but my photography wasnt what is its now (hopefully this trend will continue!)

i was going to revisit water drops but it seems a bit overdone and a bit mundane.

so what are your winter projects? im looking for something a little different i guess. i have a few bookings which will keep me busy to some extent but i think its good to have a project on the go. the only other thing i thought about was to sink more time into my LR presets

good call !.....I'm at a point where I need some inspiration/KUTA too, be interesting to see what transpires :-)

im not sure if i know what i am gonig to do, must admit i dont have a lot of free time still got a few bookings for things so that will consume most weekends.
Probably get out and get some moody lanscapes for 2 reasons.
1. really hvent done any personal projects at all this year as trying to get business of the ground which has gone well.
2. My 17-40 feels a little left out as it really hasnt been used at all.

my personal projects mainly for jan and feb is model shooting. My nice studio is almost complete and im already beginning to book in the models....perv time a plenty ahead! (Joking about the last bit) ;) But your right I feel its important to have something to concentrate on photographing to try and really improve your craft.
