Bout bloody time. Thse dark days do my head in, bloody depressing. At least now we're starting to get longer days again.

And that concludes my pointless post of the day.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY ALL!

Fascinating read, I shall be referring this most intriguing thread to my colleagues at the university of wtf.

Bloody hippies, get a haircut!

Too many lights around here to consider it dark. More likely to suffer a light induced migraine.

This concludes my pointless moan of the day :D.

Now all we need is to get the cold snap out of the way.

Give me tha dark and cold/snow any time! I hate them crappy long drawn out days with 5 minutes of fleeting pointless sunshine appearing here and there.

:D

Nah, it's great - It's dark, so many people leave work early (because sitting in traffic with daylight is somehow better?) and by the time I go home the roads are pretty clear!

It's funny because it's officially the first day of winter but because the evenings are getting lighter, it seems like we're over the worst.

The evenings have been getting lighter for a while already, but the dawn will continue to be later until into January. Just because the days are getting longer doesn't mean that you'll feel that change, particularly if you're a 9-5 worker and will be going home in the dark anyway for a while yet.

The evenings have gotten lighter by 2 mins so far so not really noticeable.

Welcomed our son into the world at 2:22am this morning after a long and traumatic labour for my Mrs, we're beyond happy and means all the more knowing that his birthday brings longer and warmer days. :)
