Might as well start this and keep the club threads clear.

Newcastle made their first signing for the January window already and seem to be very active.

Depending on visa and World cup performance he could join our sqaud in January instead of loaning him out for the rest if the season.

I believe we have scouts In South America full time now and this could be one to watch. Reported from Multiple sources.
30million price tag

I would Like Madison and Alvarez from Ajax.
Chelsea leading that race i think. Would be a good signing for any team. Dm/CB and comfortable on the ball.

I wish Wilock would find his goal scoring boots again as you can notice when Longstaff playing instead of him.

He's very good at keeping the ball under pressure unlike Sean who gets caught every time hah

Anyone know much about Harrison Ashby?

Newcastle almost signed him in the simmer but Westham couldn't get a replacement and the deal looks back on this January.

Long term replacement for Tripper?

Maddison sure is getting very friendly with the Toon players in the England camp :)

Agent Tripper and Wilson at work again?

Year and half left in his contract?

January will be tough but definitely could see this happening in 2023.

Ok. As I said before, I really don't think the financial side of things is as big a deal as many do. We see lots of clubs front load transfer spend and make up for it later. It's something we've done before too. If we can get both, I think we will but the challenge is convincing the players for me.

Salif Diou. Diop played for Fulham I think. And yea, he was a disaster but thankfully didn't cost much. We also signed Bruno Cheyrou that summer too who Houllier called the new Zidane. Turns out he wasn't.
Your frigging Liverpool. Very much doubt any player needs much convincing. Your not also afraid to throw around a bit of cash for transfer fees.

It will be more down to wages. (Total fee)

That's were the money truly starts to rack up and can hurt clubs in the long run.

As lovely as that first part sounds, unfortunately Real Madrid are frigging Real Madrid and Bayern are frigging Bayern and so on. We won't be competing for these players with nobody clubs but other leading clubs from around Europe. Obviously wages will be a factor in any players decision and you'll need to be competitive but I'm not as cynical as most people regarding this. I don't think that many players are motivated purely by money but they've also have to be convinced about all other aspects of the club too.

I wish it was as simple as the days when we signed VVD. He reportedly met Klopp at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and after a Klopp hug, a stick of rock and a ride on the big one, he got straight on the phone and told City and Chelsea where to go.
Well thats true its kinda way I'm hoping one of these players go to Real.

So they can cool their jets on Bruno hah

Just caught up on Newcastle's pre game and post game pressers.

We really need squad improvements.

Long term replacement for Schar and Tripper are needed.

We could also do with a new midfielder as Shevely is crocked again

Seems we are definitely in for Thuram

This made me chuckle

For the life of me i can’t see where Pickford could go. Literally no one with a good chance of winning silverware or getting in the champs league needs him. He’s gonna have to lower his expectations I feel to maybe Palace or Leicester level.
Think he's also hated by most set of fans.

Why was Maddison left out against us? Couldn't help but feel there was something happening in the background. Would love for us to as another CM though. Feel like we are lacking depth there in particular, quality depth.
100% but don't discount the work Longstaff and Willock put in.

Very interesting window for us. You don't want to rock the boat but there's definitely room for improvement.

I believe Macrus can be had for 10million due to his contract situation.

That would give us a forward line up of Isak, Wilson, Miggy, Maxi, Thuram, Wood with Big Joe dropping back to the middle after covering Maxi fitness issues. (He's did rather well also)

Ideally we want to be clearing out Frazer, Richie and Murphy.

Would love Maddison but doubt they sell even though his contract is runing down.

If we can get rid of them 4 it's a good start. Willock and longstaff cannot be discounted but long term reality is I think they are squad players. The key is getting another player of the same calibre of Bruno in CM as a starter, but that player would have to compliment BG too, so he doesn't have to adjust his game. That's when we can really push on. The rest feels like it's starting to knit together nicely.

I only say that because should this form continue we will be fighting on another front next year as well and we will need another 3-4 class players to maintain league form and have any chance of making a European or cup run. Europe was a dream even for this season, yet may become a reality. Took so many of us by surprise but I love what's going on at the moment.
Bruno can play anywhere in the middle that's the beauty. If a midfield started we could go for a defensive or attacking specialist.

I would be more inclined towards an attacking one but then again we haven't really seen Isak in the team who tends to drop deep and has some of the best ball progression stats.

Who knows just got to trust the process been pretty spot on so far hah

Just spotted that Maddison liked a Newcastle fan comment on twitter.

Bruno holding MOTM award and a gaint Maddison poster in the background and the fan tweeted Madders in the background...its a sign!

And Maddison liked it (removed it later)

Now this was probably an accidental finger press but he was also wearing Black and white colours during the match.

Soooooooooooo in my head it's happening hah

The Ecuadorian Gazette are really pushing the Caicedo to Liverpool chat. I hope I'm wrong because we could really do with a little terrier in the middle of the pack but I can't see Brighton selling for anything but a mental fee in January.

July 2026 but he'll probably extend it again just to **** you off :p
Some of Newcastle's statos are crying into their cornflakes as they had labelled him as a top target that would free up Bruno from his current DM role. (His stats and formation discipline are fantastic)

Seen a lot of Chelsea links now for him also.

Tom whole transfer policy seem to be go after the players the other teams are after.

They have bloody well seemed to have nipped Santos off us :/
