Winter Transfer Window 23/24

if the Leeds version was still in the man, they wouldn’t be shipping him out on loan and he would be rotating with Rodri, the fact that he can’t get off the bench when city are trying to shut up shop at the end of games should tell you everything you need to know.

I don't think Philips was ever given a chance ever in the Man City team

He's rarely started a game even when he joined the club

Jordan Henderson off to where he is needed most.

Hope his 6 months money were worth selling his principles and forever now being a banter player to everyone else.

I don't like to break it to you but very very few people have any true morals or principles. Most people have them until its convenient for them not to and everyone is very good at lying to themselves about why their lack of morals is different to someone else who they would be happy to condemn.

I have no idea why people think that a footballer who has loads of free time doing some PR stuff for LGBT means they care deeply or wouldn't sack it off in a moment for the right amount of money.

Perhaps the lesson here is that money and being good at something doesn't make you a good person. I would suggest that being fantastically wealthy and completely removed from the average persons existence probably makes most people worse... Perhaps the lesson is that idolising anyone because they kick a football real good is utterly bonkers.

All beat me to it, the Henderson move is hilarious. Glad he was able to transform Saudi into a more safe place for the LGBTQ+ community.

Who would have thought a massive money move to a nobody club might be a bad decision for him.

Shame he isn't moving to a German club. It would be more appropriate due to the schadenfreude we are all feeling right now.

Makes it a weird move though. Why not stay until the wages are paid?

Although the fact he chose to defer them (whilst very reasonable and something i'd probably do if given the choice!) does further hit his previous reputation as a "for everyone" kind of person.

If Bayern come a calling and you’re at Newcastle, you’re going.

They’re one of the biggest clubs in the world, always have been.

Madrid, Barca, Man Utd, Bayern are basically the top 4 clubs in the world.
