Winter Transfer window 24/25

The manager needs to get them to work. That is what he gets paid for.

The striker he had at Sporting was a reject from Coventry City.

They don't seem to be natural strikers, and they play that way. I'm sure he's doing what he can, as you say, he made Gyokeres into the most coveted striker in world football.

A reject? He was good at Coventry, that's why Sporting signed him.

Good why would we want someone who scores 1 in 4.

We shouldn't even be buying off a team like Bayern. It is like sloppy seconds. We should be looking for the up and coming talent from our own scouts.
You’re currently 13th in the table, a cluster **** of a football club and have strikers that would struggle to hit the floor if they fell on it, what makes you think up and coming players would want to play for you, you might have to accept “sloppy seconds” for a while.

You mean like the CB that Real wanted that moved to us less than a year ago? One of the three Golden Boy finalists to play for us currently.

By overpaying, if real offered the same as you, who do you think he would be playing for now and how’s that turning out for you?

You mean proving that the best up and coming players do want to play for us? Pretty well actually. And by all accounts Tel wants the move, it was Bayern that refused it. Anything more to add?
As I said in my edit, it’s only because real wouldn’t match your offer, who do you think he would be playing for if both offers were equal

You realise if he didn't want to play for us it he could have rejected us? You know, like Tel rejected Spurs this week? Must really hurt that we're playing our worst football ever and the best still want to come to us not Saudi FC.

Doesn’t hurt at all, you’re on a downward spiral and now have Brexit Jim(a richer Mike Ashley)at the helm and taking the **** out of your football club, and we’re on an upward trend and only going 1 way. So yeah I feel pretty good right about now and know which position I would prefer to be in.

What upward trend? The last time you won a trophy my mother was 5 years old and she will be 75 this year.

The best, bloody hell. He’s done nothing of note apart from struggle in every game he’s played. He’s made 1 good tackle this season. That’s it.

Common thing that with EVERY single United signing - Real Madrid(or city) wanted him that’s why we had to pay a 500% increase on the player.

That's not true at all. And yes, he's one of the best young defenders in the world. That's why he was one of the finalists this year.

Whatever anyone says, we do still have some pull (partly financial I'm sure).

I do feel for these younger players, this is such a difficult place to play, and in a hugely dysfunctional team. I wouldn't be writing a player like Yoro off yet, I'm sure all the top clubs were looking at him for a reason.

Back to new transfers, I really hope we're going to sign a striker in the next 24 hours. There must be someone out there who can do a job on loan? Just someone who can do normal striker things would be a start.
