Nice! I would have used this a few months ago, now I found using Vegas Pro is my favorite way of converting video! I use AVCHD formats, and whenever I tried a converter, it came out all interlaced and horrible!!
 
I did used to have Sony Vegas but it seemed a bit complicated for q quick but high quality conversion!
 
Looks pretty nice and is certainly worth a download for free. How does this fair against Xilisoft Ultimate Video Converter?
 
Not used that one but it does seem to do a good job :)

Great for converting videos for youtube happy HD files too without having a huge filesize!
 
Might seem like an obvious question, but can this deal with subtitles?

Got a few MKVs I wouldnt mind converting to a slightly more universal file format, even if I do have to embed one of the sets of subtitles to do it!

I'd go have a decetn check, but am at work right now!
