winXP to Win7

I have just created my new pc, and I have installed windows xp 32bit, since that is the only OS disk I have available. I was wondering if its possible to buy a download version of windows 7 upgrade and do a clean install from there?

You can do a clean install using a upgrade copy of win 7,

If your after the software, you can always try the MS web site, or software for students, if your a student.
