Wiper Washers Will Not Work!!

Was hoping that some of you car pros would be able to help me with a problem I have on my Peugoet 106. The wipers on both the windscreen and rearscreen work, however the water sprayers do not and as such I cannot wash the windows when driving if needed.

I thought that this could be any number of options:

1/Pump stopped working
2/A leak of the water (I refilled it recently)
3/The water sprayers are blocked :S

Anyhow I was after your opinions on what it may be and how I could sort it and if neccessary how much it would cost to get repaired (I am a car noob).

The easiest way to narrow this down is to disconnect the pump from the tank and sit it in some water, then try the switch. If it works, theres a block in the tank, if ti doesnt, check your pipework/nozzles. Also check the pump actually moves/makes a sound.

Can you hear a pump going when you try to wash the windscreen?

washing up liquid does nasty things to washer jets...

if the pump is running the jets may be blocked or a pipe may have become disconnected at a join

If you can't hear the motor it could be that or the actual switch in the stalk.
