So I bought some no-name universal flat blades off eBay and they've turned out crap, streaking like crazy after just a couple of months.

Should I just go back to regular Bosch blades?

No buy some proper Aero wipers, 'buy cheap buy twice'.

Mine are great and i wouldn't go back to normal blades.

I've got some Bosch flat wipers from a Renault Scenic (same size as CTR). Great quality.

bosch aero twins, they are retro-fit flat blade wipers and work great

There's no 16" Bosch Aerotwin available for the passenger side so meh

In order to do it propper and not use the clips yep.

Nothing wrong with using the clips, i have a set of the valeo flat blades, and they are brilliant.

if you must use aero blades then your local Lexus dealer can provide some which don't look ridiculous..

They work the same, fair play, but they stick up too far and look ugly.

Just going to have to get the regular ones because I can't find any 16" Valeo or Bosch blades!

my bosch whipers just broke on me =( wrapped around the door when i was going on the motorway at 70, had to lean to the left Ace Ventura style for the rest of the journey.

The answer is yes. I found this answer out the long way after 3 pairs of "flat" blades.
