I've got an AIMesh setup using a wired backhaul, due to some device incompatibility with wireless backhaul and very thick stone walls.
One device just doesn't seem to want to maintain a stable connection with the mesh.
It's got about 20m of cat6 connecting it to another AIMesh device which is then connected to the main node. Daisy chaining is allegedly supported, and it does sometimes work fine, but the past couple of days it's just been terrible. Wire is good according to my basic line checker, so maybe it's a signal quality issue?
I'm not sure where to go next, maybe a signal booster for the cable? Try the device next to my main node for a day to check it's able to maintain connection in an ideal world?
Set fire to everything and go with a different brand? These devices are only serving WiFi and wired connectivity, all DHCP, DNS etc is handled elsewhere.
