Hi chaps wonder if you can help me...

I currently have my Virgin router/TV box etc downstairs and I am going to be using my attic as a gaming/computer room.

Ideally I want to have a wired connection to my PC, 360 and PS3 up there.

What would be the best way of achieving this? Running a cable from downstairs to a switch in the attic or something else?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes just bung a ethernet cable into the virgin router and run the cable to a switch in the attic so it can split off to your devices. Shouldn't cost you more than £10 for the cable and clips and a bit more for whatever switch takes your fancy. That's what I would do anyway. Proper ethernet is always better than any other method.
