Hey all, hope you are ok.
Now this is going to be confusing, I hope all you network wizards will be able too help me.. If you can understand me
Ok, so I have my Xbox 360 in my room, and I have a xover lead going into the computer room, becuase I used too use and ICS connection with my old Xbox. Then, I have a lead going down the house into the room where the router is, both ends haven't been terminated, and I have 2 wall sockets, but both of them have different colour layouts. Then I have another xover lead, going too the router.
So I connect up the 2 boxes and connect up the 2 leads, but on my xbox it says that the lead is disconnected. Is it because I have 2 xover leads? Or is it becuase I have 2 different connections on my 2 wall boxes?
I have now disconnected both the wall boxes, so just too give everyone an I idea of what I have. I have a Xover lead going into the computer room where one of the wall boxes is going. Then I have a xover lead going from the other wall box too the router.
So any help on connecting or diagrams will be great.
Thanks
