Wired Earbuds for summer gaming

Hi all,

I'm finding my ears are getting a little clamy after 4-10 hours sessions with my DT990s on so I'm looking at getting a pair of wired ear buds for gaming/streaming. I'll mainly be playing FPS games like COD/Escape From Tarkov etc. I currently use DT990s and an amp, not sure if it's possible but one reason I like the DT990s is due to the fact they are open back and I can hear myself so I can attempt to not shout my head off, not sure if that's a possibility with wired earbuds.

Any recommendations please?

A good set of in-ear monitors (IEMs) will be a good alternative to your DT990s.
As per the name, they sit inside your ear and will isolate sound.
They will also benefit from being driven by an amp.

What's your budget?

Ok mate, I had a quick look and they seem pretty cool. I guess my budget would be up to £250, however if I can get something a lot better I could go to £500~.
