Wired Keyboard - £20'ish

Where did this sub forum come from? - lol

The X4 is not too much if a good keyboard.

Is it being suggested because it is a good keyboard or because it is closest to price point?

Thanks.

Because it's the best around that price point. It's good quality and wont break a few months down the line. Great keyboard infact.

I bought a MW3 branded G105 keyboard for just over your budget iirc. Ignoring the MW3 branding just means you get a Logitech G105 for much less than it would have been otherwise :)

I bought a Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 a while ago and for general PC use it's a great keyboard for the money. As I've recently bought a new gaming PC it's not really cutting it so I plan on getting the X4 as others have suggested.

I wouldn't recommend black switches. Red, blue or brown is what you should go for. Black is a bit hit and miss as to whether you'll like it not.

I really like black switches.

I have the 6GV2, and while it's a great keyboard, there are a few issues. Letters rub off very quickly, and apparently it's very common for a few keys to just stop registering. Happened to mine, and am replacing it this week.

I'd recommend blacks, but not the 6GV2.

Honestly, Microsoft basic keyboard. A tenner. Great keyboard for that much money.

This, or a basic Logitech (no need to spend silly amounts on gaming keyboards). I've been using the latter for over 10 years now, for both work and gaming and it's served me well.
