wired keyboard required

i have a wireless microsoft 8000 [love it] but alsoi require a wired one with hot keys

ive looked at the microsoft x6, and g15 in person and liked the sound of the x6 but didnt like it when i tried it out

also razer and saitek have some nice looking ones

recommendations and opinions sought! must be backlit

The Eclipse II seems to be the de-facto illuminated keyboard, though it doesn't have hotkeys, so I'd have a look at the Logitech G11 that's on sale at the moment.

I have the Logitech G11, it is a very good keyboard, especially for the money.

I'd recommend the G11 as well.

It has 18 hotkeys on the left side which can have upto 3 macros assigned, as well as the backlight you're after.

As far as I'm aware the only difference from the G15 is that it doesn't have a LED display on it.

just got the G11 and i honestly cant fault it. as the saying goes, 'does exactly what it says on the tin' and at 26 notes you can't be bad to it

i bought the g11 and only thing i dont like about it is the small keys and that its to long that it doesnt really fit on my pull out drawer properly , kinda wish i didnt buy it now tbh

ah thats kinda important, i have a pull out draw too and dont want anything bigger than what i have now, also i dunno about the blue backlight

If it helps, the G11 is 55cm across.
