Wired multi room audio help! - Iphone/Ipod

Hi there,

As you may have seen from my renovation thread I've wired in speakers in my house to various areas including Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen and Lounge.

They all terminate in one central location.
What kind of amp do I need to control these different zones and is there anything on the market that can play music from your iPhone?

Would appreciate any help.

Do you want to have:

1. One song playing in all rooms at the same time?
2. Different songs playing in different rooms?
3. One song playing in one particular room with the rest/some muted?

How do you want to control where the music is playing? Wirelessly or via an amp.

Do you also want a wired (i.e. a dock) or wireless iPhone solution? AirPlay will be the best wireless bet via bluetooth as it holds better quality and should work further in the house.

Do you want an FM tuner? Might be better using an app on your iPhone for that.

Option 3, I'd like to control where the music plays wirelessly.
I.e iPhone select music hit play and airplay it if that makes sense.
