Wired only Router

I'm looking for a wired only router so that I can set my Asus ac86u as an access point only. My ac86u is central in the house so not looking to move it as I get good signal from all around. I will need a router that will sit in the Living room and have decided on wired only as it wont need any wireless clients connected that could possibly interfere with my current WiFi.

What are the options that can handle 1Gb up and down?

Just to add, I don't have a router from ISP.

A gigabit symmetric link sounds like a job for the MikroTik RB5009UG+S+IN, as long as you're comfortable with a bit of a learning curve

Or just go with the default secure configuration. The days when you had to configure them from scratch are pretty much gone.

To be clear, if you want to do anything other than what is in the default secure configuration then @Caged is correct, there are so many options, screens and menus that it is a steep learning curve.
