I'm so unbelievably hacked off with CUPS and Samba, that I'm very happy to splurge some cash on getting a usb print server device that'll just hook my usb printer onto the network without being faffy and, frankly, gay.

Any ideas as to what the best is? I don't need wireless, and I'm not likely to have more than one printer plugged in. I know Netgear make them, are they any good?

I'm presuming these things are easy to use - plug in, set up an ip address, browse the network in the OS and then just add the printer? No faffing with "not having the correct drivers"?

I would be inclined to get a Jet Direct Box as they can't cause many problems and are so easy to install.

But I am thinking of going to look at the Linksys ones as the prices seem very reasonable, but I would be getting the wireless one as I have Linksys Wireless Access Point.

I will probably go Jet Direct!
