Have a windows xp laptop which connects to the net fine when an ethernet is plugged in.

For wireless (intel 2200BG) it detects the routers, (I have 2 networks with 2 separate wireless routers) and connects to them fine when i enter the key.
I get an ipaddress
But when i try to connect to the internet i can't.

I tried updating drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling device, resetting winsock etc. Still no internet but i can ping the router.

Other computers work fine on both routers.

edit- now i can't ping the router
Any ideas on the next step?

Was the card always in this laptop or did you add it later? Check the antennas are securely connected. Is MAC address filtering enabled on the routers? Temporarily try disabling wifi encryption too and/or leaving one router off.
