As the title says, my 360 pad is changing to player 2 mid game, & the only way to put it back to player 1 is to reboot the pc, this is extremely damn annoying, & stops me from playing anything competitive that needs a joypad, like rocket league.

I've googled and cannot find any solution, tho there are a good few posts from others with this problem, tried uninstalling the joypad, cleaning out all entries in the registry, installing xbox accessories, no joy, its random, can sometimes play several games before it happens, sometimes like just now it happens half way through my first game of the day.

Just wondering if anyone had fixed this themselves or had any ideas, its only started happening recently, & my best guess is that it was something with a win10 update thats messed it up (which is the exact reason I wish auto updates could be turned off), although avast has also been minimising my games occasionally even with silent mode on, so not 100% sure.

You're right, didnt have another pad to test, but ran my fingers along the cable & sure enough the lights went, damn annoying as I havent even had it that long, bought it to replace another one that did something similiar, dodgy connection at the pad itself.

So going to go wireless as you suggested, I will need a reciever too obviously, does the wireless 360 pad come with a cable for charging?
