Wireless 360 controler

I have the 360 for windows wireless controller which is great however i was wondering if there is a way to connect it to my PC without getting off my but and pressing the receiver?

I have wireless keyboard and mouse so am generally sat on the sofa a few meters away.

i never had that issue, every time i switched on my pc the receiver and pad were already sync'd?

just switched it on and ...... boom

Likewise, I only pressed the connect button on the receiver once when it was first installed. Have you pressed the silver x-box symbol button on the gamepad between the start and back button?

Well it seems the problem has gone away how strange :confused:
