hi guys i need advice on an wireless adapter that works with w7 64bit as iv tried 3 different netgear usb /pci cards and none of them will work with w7 i want to go wireless if possable but there is poor support for w7 in this field , can anyone advise what will work ? .

iv just tried one of those on my pc and it wont work properly in w7 in fact it has jut keeled over on my system as well and i have had to revert to wired

iv tried the linksys wusb54gv4 and still the same i am very disappointed with w7 in this respect you would have thought that 64 bit drivers for wireless would have been near the top of their list meanwhile i am spending a fortune cards/dongles trying to get one that works and is stable

I'm using a Netgear WPN311 PCI adapter, which works perfectly out of the box with win7, it even has built in 64bit drivers in win7.

Im running mine under vista compatibility and it works fine.

Using a Netgear WN121T under 7 x64 with no problems at all.

Got the drivers from the Microsoft Update Catalogue directly.
