Wireless AC card?

Is there really only one available? Seems steep but want to get one as I'm getting an AC compatible router.

I believe the asus card is the only AC PCI card.

There are two from Asus:

ASUS PCE-AC56 Dual-Band Wireless AC1300
ASUS PCE-AC68 Dual Band Wireless AC1900

I would just grab the AC1900, it is a good adapter as are all of the Asus networking products.

I got the PCE-AC68 a few days ago and it's a great little card. I'm planning on getting a AC router soon however I got a 10-15mb increase in speed on a home hub 3. The software is nice and easy to use as well.

I got the AC86 today, great piece of kit. I've got the Antenna Base fastened to the back of my desk with all 3 antennas attached and its connected to the Virgin Superhub 2ac at 1Gbps with no issues.

Is it PCI you need or PCIe?

If PCIe Intel do a great one that's really just an PCIe card with a MiniPCIe card stuck on it. I have one and it works very very well indeed and the antenna is great.

All of the Asus adapters are PCIe. I doubt anyone would bother building a PCI AC adapter.
